Hi Guys!!
Do you CueMakers get International Mail problems?? Or is it just for Joint Protectors?
I had a e-mail from Maurice in Weert, The Netherlands..
His 2 Custom Cue Cap Sets didn't arrive yet.. I'm kind worried..
Good thing it was insured this time, I didn't want to mail it uninsured because of my SOLID MISTRUST of the International Mail System and Customs. They Handle thousands of packages everyday.. What's the odds?? You think they give a FU#*?? It's just another day at work for them..
Well, I don't gamble 'cause I'm a losser and now?? I gambled and am on the losing side..
I hope it's delayed and not "Lost".. Going to the P.O. today and see the SPO for missing mail..
The package was insured, but, WTF!!! I get the money back and have to make another set.. .. And don't want to make it again for that price. That set was hard to make..
I hope it's delayed somewhere.. Anywhere O.K.
just not lost!!! Or Damaged..:(

You could run the tracking numbers and make sure it wasn't already delivered. I've only done 2 int'al mailings and was able to track both pretty well. The last one even let me know by email that delivery had been attempted, and would be tried again the next day.
Good luck,
Dave

Send stuff USPS Express mail all the time and they haven't dropped the ball yet. Much less paper work hassle than FedEx and UPS. I do everything on line and they pick up at my door the next day. USPS pays for boxes and tape to be delivered to my door. I buy the bubble wrap/interior packing. The postage is 1/3rd of FedEx and it usually only takes a day or two longer at the most to get there.
Have never had a package opened at customs either.

<~~~knocking on wood as I'm typing this....................

Knock on my Head..

Thanks Guys,
I forgot to mention, it was USPS GOBAL PRIORITY to the Netherlands..
I gotta give them more time for delivery.. It's been 13 days.. Maybe that's not enough time to reach Europe..
Maybe they gotta go thru the Panama Canal... Slow Boat to Europe?
Thanks all..
And, Yes Dave, I'll knock on wood too, let's see, my head is the closest thing to wood I have around, so.....:o

Hi,

I have received a joint protector via USPS priority from Florida to Germany (that's the bigger country east of the Netherlands ;-) and it took a little more than two weeks. So don't give up yet, this is normal up to now.

However, the "priority" in USPS priority is a joke. They should call it "low priority": As soon as there is really nothing else to do, they will take care of this package.

Regards,

Detlev

I've heard that they still use pony express in parts of Europe....

<~~~thinks they stole the idea from us.............

Just shipping from Canada to the States using Canada and US Post can take 3 or 4 weeks but so far it has always arrived. I sent a package to LA from Ontario 3 weeks ago and I don't think it has arrived yet.
