I use to play everyday and pool was on my mind 24/7. My pool interest even came to the point that I go the Philippines on a regular basis to play and get lessons. Also, I helped sponsor players from the Philippines (eg. Ramon Mistica and Dennis Orcullo) be able to come to North America for the first time.
Now, I have not touched a cue for more than 3 years and, at one point, I honestly forgot that I have a pool table on the basement. It was weird that I was on top of my game and, one day, I just woke up and all the passion for the game was gone!
I still love the game and it will always be a part of me. This is what I call my "hibernation stage" in pool; I quit for about 3-4yrs then come back stronger after!
