We're less than a month away!!! Are you all ready for the ACTION!!!!!

As every year, spectators from the internet billiard forum community, members of the AZBilliards, CCBoard, InsidePOOLmag.com and the OnePocket.Org forums will have the opportunity to vote for the upcoming 2008 Derby City Classic Louis Roberts Action and Entertainment Award.

This award goes to the person that is deemed to exemplify the meaning of action and entertainment throughout their attendance at the 2007 Derby City Classic. It could be as a player, backer, woofer, or all of the above. So make sure you pay attention to the action. If you don't know who or what you're watching, ask someone.

My vote will go to SVB. Between the tourney & action he must be playing 20 hours a day. Thanks to Justin and Chad of TAR for all they do. Had a great time hanging around the TAR booth and it was a lot of fun donig the commentary for the Monica - Sarah one pocket match. See you guys next year.

I hope you're just kidding; there are a bunch of good players young and old that have been working their asses off in the action room, making games & betting it up all week. That was a great moment, but it was more of a woofing moment than an actual bet, not that the money wasn't real -- I believe the Tooth backed down so there was no actual big bet, correct? Unless something more happened after I left the room. I did just happen to be in the action room when the challenge occurred.

Hell, Grady was in action for four figures nearly every night himself. And Cardone, and of course a host of young guns -- some of whom I really mean are young!

TAP TAP TAP , It will be a travesty if a PLAYER doesn't win. Remeber you get free entries and hotel doe life--- lets give that to someone who NEEDS it and will actually make a ball.

I voted for scooter. He was in action all week. Hell everytime Shane played he had more money bet than the players did! And thats a fact Jack. I saw the kid do nothing but chase action all week. He put players in the box, he bet on the side, Hell he went and shot 3 pointers with corvette somewhere around there for the cash. You can't tell me he doesn't deserve it. Its not a popularity contest its who was the Man In Action.

I want to say scooter said he won. I think it was only 3 pointers. PM vette and he'll probally tell u.

Since it's an award for entertainment in action, I'd say that it is indeed a popularity contest.
