This guy is on a tear!

Wins 11-5 Joey Arbuckle
Wins 11-5 Jeremy Jones
Wins 11-7 Alex Pagulayan
Wins 11-0 Ernesto Dominguez (was this a forfeited match?)
Wins 11-1 Tony Robles

He's been making mincemeat out of some serious firepower.

Nothing against Ulrich but you have to admit that he was very lucky to be in the 'easiest' bracket. Had he been, say in the 3rd bracket, he would have been in the loser's side already. He has been playing fantastic pool though but I would be surprised if he will be i the top 4.

The bracket with Alex Pagulayan - the former US Open Champion - is considered the easiest bracket - that's sick

Yes it is whether you admit it or not. Look at who he is playing now in his next match. I do not even recognize his name and compare it to the other brackets. Alex P. is the only champion in the 1st bracket. Compare it to the 2nd bracket where you have Souquet, Archer, Orcullo, Luat, Gabe Owen, Strickland, John Schmidt. The 3rd bracket had 6 Filipinos including Efren, Bustamante, Parica, Kiamco, Corteza and Alcano. Throw in Niels Feijen and Thorsten Hohmann too. This was the most star studded bracket.

Not Ulrich's fault though. There is something called the 'luck of the draw' and fortunately, he got very lucky.

sorry for missing Jones but even with him, bracket one is still the 'easiest' bracket.

It was easier then 3, and in hindsite with Immonen (former world champ) getting knocked out of it early it seemed even easier. Before the first break though that bracket had some serious players in Pag, Immonen and Jones and to come out of it over all those guys is no fluke. Immonen is still on the B-side killing people after his first slip and has a legitimate chance of making that "easy" bracket produce the winner.

I used to watch Louis practice when he first got back into the game. Even then this guy is amazing. He definately has the ability to win the US Open. Easy bracket or not he has had his way with some serious players. Look at some of the players he has been through in the last few tournaments he has played in. Louis is definately no slouch.
Way to go Louie.
