Low Jack for High Dollar Cues

Was wondering if anyone has ever considered a miniature GPS Device for the location of Missing Cues.

We do not have the Problem very, or often where I play of Cues disappearing, or being picked up by mistake.

But I was wondering how cost effective it would be to put a Mini Low Jack Device in High Dollar Cues?

I suggested this several months ago to a buddy that lost his cues after his auto was broken into. He is a computer expert with IBM in internet security. He also liked the idea, he's got a new Mottey coming someday.. The device they implant in pets came to mind after a few beers. After a few more we never went any further with it, I do believe the idea has merits and potential.

The Problem I see with the Pet Finder Device is it does not track your Pet, it must be scanned by someone like a Veterinarian with a Reader Device.

Should your Cue be Lost, or  You would have to find the Cue yourself in procession of the Unowner, call the COPS, and have the Cue taken to a Doggie & Kitty Doctor by Law Enforcement for a SCAN. ;)

Think in most cases the Cops are not that interested in making a Big Bust of a Cue Thief, unless Johnny Law is a Pool Player.
