The cue is called a Hall Of Fame #2 or HOF-2. The cue pictured is a currently producted model, that sells for $455 retail, however these cues normally sell between $290 and $325.

If you are having the cue refinished and you plan to make it a player, I would have the joint collar replaced during the refinish. The joint collar currently on that cue is a plastic material that is not very strong, I replace them all the time on Muecci cues. I would recommend replacing it with Phenolic, a white Phenolic will not disrupt the current design of the cue and it will also give you a better hit. The work is very simple to accomplish for anyone who has the ability to refinish a cue correctly, and the cost should not be much more either.

Oh and by the way, have the person refinishing the cue check the joint for tightness, this is another problem I frequently encounter with Muecci cues.

Hope this helps, and have a good night.

Thanks for the insight. I have no plans of selling this cue, so its becoming a player. Replacing the joint sounds like a good idea. The only thing irking me is the odd looking grain in the points. I bought the pool cue from the manager of my poolroom, and he never played with it much, I guess it was a meucci oopsie.

Jimmy Ingram said no to doing the refinish, however a member here will be doing it, weve been shooting PM's.
