Here is a cue thats about as oldschool as it gets. A conversion from a Tru balance house cue with a small twist....All black on the cue is Buckhorn.
Ferrules, joint collars, and buttcap are all Buckhorn.
The sticker is an exact replica of the one that was on it before I turned the taper.
A few specs...
Stainless Joint
5/16-14 pin
Rambow style oversized pilots on the shafts
58 inches long
3/4" long ferrules

Great looking player. Real old school stuff! The sticker is an awesome touch!
 
I have to tell you guys. This is one of the perfect examples of working with Lee on a cue. He comes up with some incredible ideas and works them over with you one on one. No pressure and tottaly listens to what you want but is not affraid to tell it like it is if something will or will not work. This is what coming up with a custom cue is all about. Even one like this that may not be full of ivory inlays etc. But in it's simplicity and tribute to old style cues has a coolness factor that is just well cool. I have Lee building me a few cues and it has been this same way on all of them. So what I am saying is if you want to work with a cue builder that will work with you and listen to your desires and respond with honesty and advice and add to your vision of the project then Lee Peppers is the man to do it.

Hi Chris. The Taft case is almost done and it looks sweet! Lee is currently working on the cue that I had this case made for. So Roger is waiting for the clear to go on the cue so he can do his best to match the curly maple color of the case to the cue. I will be posting pics for sure and soon I will be posting pics of my LP collection when its all done. I keep filling Lee up with another order hehe:grin:
