Probably a longshot, but what the heck. Looking for an inexpensive cue for a friend.....sneaky pete style or maybe even plain jane. Needs to be a pretty clean cue, not beat to hell.

Requirements:
Must be standard 58" in length, around 17.5 ounces, and shaft around 12.25 to 12.5.

Also prefer thinner butt cue....1.20" to 1.215".

Price range $100-$150 shipped max.

Let me with what you have. PMs ok too, but will need to see pics.

Thanks.
Sean

Hi Sean,

I have a few Pechauers and Heublers that might work, if you can't find anything you like. They are floating point types or merry widows in new condition. I bought out some cues when a local poolhall closed down. I know they're real light and there should be a few in your price range. I'll be home this evening if you need pics.

Regards,

Steve

Hi Sean. Here is a nice one just a little off spec though.
KRB Conversion AZ'r "KRBsailing"
Oak pointed
17.4 oz

Shaft 30" - 12.9 mm at base of ferrule (yellow material could be Micarta) - nice layered tip.

Butt is 29" and measures 1.24" just above the fancy butt cap. 3/8 x 10 pin.

Cue is nice, straight and solid - plays very nice - like new with only about 5 hrs play - 19.5" balance from butt cap.

$140 shipped. This is a nice cue - If he doesn't like it - Send it back for money back.

Bump......considering some options right now.

Any others people are looking to sell? Also may consider inexpensive nice production cues.

Gonna be making a decision by the weekend.

Thanks !!

May want to do a search for a Huebler sneaky. Think I saw one on Ebay or somewhere recently. That weight is gonna be hard to find probably, but a Hueb is a good cue in that price range.

I believe that CM98 sneaky comes with a ferrule-less shaft. Duc designed it like that to have low deflection properties. If I remember correctly, I saw some reviews on here saying that the shaft plays better compared to some of the known production LD shafts. If you do a search, you might be able to find it.

That's a sweet deal. I should find a day to meet with Duc to try the shaft.
