Hi, AzB. I'm starting 2 new teams this year with several new players. Many of them are looking for decent cues that won't break the bank. I would like to know what might be available in the $75-$125 range. I realize there are several new cues in that price range, but looking for something used in a better quality cue.

I need pictures that show the whole cue, if possible. I'm not profiting from this, only helping new players to the league scene get started on the right track. I've already sold my backups for this same reason, I know some of you have that old production cue hidden in the closet so your pool buddies don't know you have it :embarrassed2: Help a new player enjoy the game we all love!

Hi there,

I think you should really revise your budget if they're meant to train up for league standards. $75-$125 can't really fetch you any really really decent production IMO (if they do, they probably weren't fantastic productions in the first place or they will be really banged up =\). I think $200 is a good budget for a beginner.

Alternatively, you can actually find Nelhin. (or something close to that for his nick) I remember he used to be pretty keen in selling a couple of Lucasi Custom LD-1 for about $140 shipped each leather wrapped. That's probably the best buy you can get at that price *I think*

Hope you fetch the right cues!

Cheers,
Clarence

Get in contact with me, I have a number of nice, vintage

production cues. I would stay away from the newer China and Taiwan made stuff. You are better of with entry level quality made US and Japan made production cues, Like Viking, Helmstetter, Early Mali and Dufferin Sneaky-Petes' if you like the Hustler Bar Look.
I have about ten of these types of cues that I have collected and I am willing to sell.
I have these available, because i have collected them over the last 20 years, but now, unfortunately I have to sell a lot of my collection to pay for my Medications for a Bone infection I have. I am currently in the hospital, but I am hoping to get out fairly soon.
Anyway, PM me or e-mail me @
michaelkennedy_1@yahoo.com
and I can send you some pictures, I also have a collection of cases that maybe I can put some packages together for your players. I would urge you to get back to me soon, because my leagues will be starting back up for fall and alot of the new players will be hitting me up for these types of cues.

Thanks

Oh yeaaa, Mike's definitely the guy to look for that has cues within your budget. Helmsetters/Dufferin SP plays really well and Mike's a stand up guy too. You should definitely deal with him as he offers really nice packages.

Dale Perry cues on Ebay are a good bet. Play great for the price and they look pretty good too.

Pictures of what you have for sale can be sent to slodancr67@yahoo.com .

I have purchased 2 nice production cues in the last month for under a hundred. Both were Viking USA, and both in primo shape. It can be done from time to time.

My current team plays tomorrow, and one of the new team starts Monday night. Send your pics! Thanks---Dave

I would have to highly agree with wambamcam on this statement, Dale Perry actually makes one sweet shooting cue and they can be found on Ebay starting at $99.00 and don't go for that much, I have bought two and each one was under $125.00, ALOT of cue for the money, and they shoot SURPRISINGLY well.

I agree, should be couple of people on here with DP's around 125 to 150 range. Lot cue for money!
