Looking to trade a mezz zz33 that I bought. Its only been used for about 10 racks. This one has the newer wx700 low deflection shaft, not the wd700. I replaced the original tip with a kamui clear soft so the tip has almost full life. Im looking to trade up for another cue. Im not set on anything specific but am keepimg an eye out for a nice predator or a decent custom. Im looking to upgrade so I will most likely be looking to trade the cue and some cash for something nicer.

so, if you have one that is worth more, feel free to contact me and see if we can work out a deal. For now, this is a link to a stock pic of what it looks like but tonight after work ill take some pics because all the pics you will see on the net dont show the correct color or the wood grain but in person the rosewood is beautiful and stands out along with the malachite and juma drop points. Anyway, just let me know if interested. Oh by the way the irish linen wrap has a clear coat over it so you wouldnt have to worry about it getting dirty. u cant see in these stock pics either.

wx700 and wd700

Just an FYI, the only difference between the wx700 and wd700 is the tip that comes on it. WD has a moori tip on it, the WX has a Kamui on it. GLWS, Mezz makes fine cues.

I think you better check your facts. The WD is 12.5 mm, the WX is 12 mm. The WX is lower deflection. The Ferrules are different. These really aren't the same shafts at all.

Lol WX900 is 12mm. This is a WX700. You need to check your facts. Only the tip and ferrule are different comparing WD to WX.

Well I appreciate the info on the shafts I was actually unaware of this myself. Ill be checking the replies for trades on my lunch break in a few hours. Thanks for replies so far and ill get back to u guys.

Correct, the tips are different between the OG wd700 and the new wx700. The ferrule is of a different material too, I believe it is the new nx ferrule. The ferrule is also a hair (I'm talking a mm or two) longer in the wx than the wd. The wx900 is a different monster altogether
 
Thank you for the info. I read about all of this befkre I purchased the cue but it just escaped me. I appreciate the refresher though becauwe its good info to know. Where I bought it said it came with a wd700 but to my surprise it came with the wx700


Here are some pics. I apologize that they are so bad but the camera isn't great so I had to take them at my stove because it was the only place where the lighting was bright enough to show the malachite drop points and the true color of the rosewood/detail of the woodgrain etc... got alot of offers but still looking. Again, im willing to trade up and give some cash on top of the cue for a nicer pool cue. Open to all cues but specifically interested in a nice predator or a custom. Tell me what you have and if its worth more, please tell me what you value your cue at and we can take it from there. Thanks alot.

was out of town and didnt get a chance to respond back to alot of you guys that had originally responded to me with offers to buy/trade for the cue. Still looking to trade for a nice custom or predator cue. May especially be willing to trade cue plus cash in on a cue of greater value than this one.
 
I have a nice Predator P3 (Curly maple) in excellent condition to trade for your Mezz cue. Let me know if you are interested.
