I wasnt really feeling the way this Lucasi was lookin so I took it over to Scot Sherbine at Proficient Billiards and voila! What a difference a wrap can make. I also had him move the wrap up half an inch to cover the splice and give a more traditional look. Let me know what you think! PM if interested:cool:

Looks great! Next...have him replace the steel joint with an ivory sub like the excellent Elforyn, flat face it & swap the pin for a big monster like a radial or SW style. And then remove all the writing on the buttcap too. Would make for an extremely trick, mass produced, 1 of 1 custom....

You should have hid the logo and had everybody bid on the cue. It would be up to about $6,000 by now.

Scot is great - he's my guy too.

i had considered a 1.5" delrin buttcap replacement, but with the refinish of the buttsleeve it began to get a little pricey. For such a simple upgrade, however, i am extremely happy with how it turned out!

Nice upgrade. I like Lucasis and think it's great to show that even production cues can be fun to customize. Nice choice in wrap color. Perfect for that model. If it had regular style notched diamonds in it I would be after one. Cheers!
