Lucasi Refinish

[Palmetto cue]

Does anyone have any experience refinishing Lucasi's? Reason I ask is I have one to do that is very beat up. It has a couple of deep gashes in the forearm that show a white material underneath. How much room do I have to work with on this one? I appreciate any help you guys can offer.

Be carefull. I sanded one down that looked to be curly maple. I guess the curly was airbrushed on. When I cut through the finish. The curly went away.

Thanks Larry. That's funny! I'll be able to sand past most of the dings, and the owner understands about the deep gashes. :thumbup:
