i need to make a shaft for a lucasi and would like to match the ringwork.thanks

Are YOU making the shaft or do you need one made? If you are making the shaft, you should probably make the rings as well. It is a pretty commom pattern and would be worth the time.

i could make the ringwork,it's a time issue for one ring,will probaly make if i can"t find one.

I just made a new shaft , and just cut the ringwork off old shaft , bored out the middle and slide it on new shaft . Jim

Although using collars off of an original shaft is possible, I won't ever cut apart a playable shaft. I'd make the rings. Heck, all the time spent posting and checking AZ, it could have been done already.
