i just got done watching the ipt KOH finals. i enjoyed the efren show very much. what drives me nuts is KT for the longest time saying 8-ball is all skill no luck. 9-ball has to much luck blah blah blah so on. then during the whole finals all you hear is wow oh my god, reyes has gotten so lucky this match. i guess when your at the table 75% of the time your bound to get some good rolls.

Remember, they are all Sigel fan-boys. They must detract from Reyes game in order to maintain the rediculous and over-bloated image of invincibility they put on Sigel.

He was talked up so much - then he got hammered. What are they suppose to do.

The thing is, a lot of this "the Mouth" stuff is for TV to create characters, but 99% of the people I've talked to who've met him say he's pretty much like that in person.

I spent 45 minutes with Mike in my car while he was here for a Qualifier. We were heading for a card room. He literally never stopped talking for a minute, excuse me five seconds. It was hard to get a word in edgewise, as they say.

To me, he is a very intelligent and sometimes funny guy. Who has a whole lot to say, all the time.

45 minutes non stop??? wow my personal best is 15 uninterupted minutes of chatter. Don't remember what I was talking about, just my sister interupting me saying I had my 15 it was her turn to talk......

When he ran around with Hubbard I saw Hubbard yelling at him once for making a stupid game and Sigel started balling like a baby and went up and sat in the bleachers by himself. Another time I saw him begin to cry after going off to Mike Caralla (sp?) playing one pocket. He was by himself and betting his own money.

It was funny this was years ago and Sigel had no idea the speed Caralla actually played and offered him 2 balls playing one pocket. Before it was over Caralla was giving him two balls and busted him for his whole bankroll. Sigel felt like a complete fool and out came the tears as he was leaving. By what I would say was no coincidence shortly after that Hubbard showed up and Caralla beat him for $30,000.

You are probably wondering why Sigel was playing one pocket and not 9 ball. This was at a place called the Congress in Miami a real den of thieves. Sigel was steered and double steered, that is why I mentioned in the beginning he was by himself he didn't have Hubbard with him to hold his hand and tell him what to do. From what I saw, he was to be a real idiot when he was a kid.
