I've had the pleasure of knowing Paul Drexler before he was world renowned.
He was always kind enough to do work on either my Huebler or Scruggs cues as well as make shafts for them and of course always did a smashing job.
I always wanted to have Paul make a cue for me, but 1) I wasn't sure I could afford one and 2) I hadn't finished designing the cue in my mind.
Paul's cues are surprisingly affordable. As far as the design process, Paul basically elicited frome me what I wanted even though I wasn't aware I already knew.
