Mac Attack

Well I finally got my hands on this fine example of Mr. Bill McDaniel's work. The shafts are very heavy and dense. It hits a lot like my Lambros and blindfolded I bet nobody could tell the difference from my Richard Harris Bluegrass sneaky!

I've never seen a shaft that you don't see wood inside the collar when looking at the insert. Is that one of Mr. McDaniel's trademarks?

Great cue!!!
I have one as well but with a metal joint. I've been using it as my player for last few weeks....

As for the solid phenolic joint on the shaft, there are several makers that do that like Schon and also Predator.

Here is my McAttack (with its bigger brother...)

Great looking cue Greg! If this plays like your Lambros, look out... That cue played great. That was the first time I played with one and I loved it.

I'm sending you a PM about the Pool Factory...

Congratulations,
Chris

I love seeing these old Mac cues. Really nice figure in the wood & BEM forearm.
Congrats
Jeff
