Just tried some single layered hard tips from Madman. I have some friends that like to play with hard tips, but I was thinking they would mostly be used for break tips. I've installed two so far. They machine well, and I like the way they look.
After a few racks... My take is that they are great break tips! Added bonus... They play pretty sporty too! I mostly play with Triangle, or Triumphs, but I found them very forgiving for a hard tip. No miscues, and I was able to apply any english needed.
I found Madman great to deal with, and I think he makes a great product at a reasonable price! He makes tips of varied hardness, layered, and non layered. I will buy more of his product. Thanks...

I have one problem I have e-mailed this guy 5 times with no response. I guess he picks and chooses who he wants to sell to. Just a shame

Ive never had a problem with Juan (madman) and there is always two sides to every complaint.

His break tips are the hardest damn leather tip I've used, right out of the box. Next to phenolic, Madman's break tips are next in line. I bought a box of his hard single layer tips and figured they would be a good break tip, which they could be, but they play pretty good to, hold chalk well. I cant complain.
