Magic Ball and 3 rail kicks?

On AZ I saw a diagram of a 3 rail kick thru a visual Magic Ball. Diagram showed moving cueball starting position 1 diamond either side of corner pocket and the cueball returns to same point in the opposite rail.

Anyone member where and what this was?
 
That sounds like the "opposite 3" system that Robert Byrne described in his "Wonderful World of Pool and Billiards" book (page 109). It has been discussed here before, a little. Dr. Dave has a video about it https://billiards.colostate.edu/faq/bank-kick/magic-spot/

It is one of those kicking systems that doesn't involve diamonds.

interesting you can use a spot on the table
the billiard books call it "system 30"using the diamonds
