Sorry about all the new threads i just feel that if i continue to post new topics in a thread i started thats unrelated it might go unnoticed. Having said that i plan on making a video of my 14.1 skill(or lack thereof). My cue isnt in yet so ill just have a go at it with a house cue or actually i might be better off with a banana which might be straighter. So unfortunately all i have is my iphone. I figure set it up at the head of the table where all the action will be and go from there? Should i get a full rack like people do when they start playing and then break, or should i have my break ball off to the side to make and break? should i only start the video once i successfully make and break or should i just keep hacking it up so you guys can help me with the weak points? umm lets see ill probably just do one rack i imagine itll take ten minutes and multiple mistakes to finish leaving me with no break anyway so should i maybe record 2 racks? opinions? comments? thoughts? bashes? all welcome and sorry for the millionth thread

Post whatever you want.

Your iPhone will do just fine. All the videos I have posted with the exception of my 44 have been streamed live via ustream and saved or recorded locally using my iPhone 3GS.

Soooo my iphone wont work due to the distance from the table and well theres nowhere to put it. oh well ll get the tripod and my camera and make it happen. Is truggled as usual but managed to consistently run 5 or 6 balls everytime before i got in trouble.

formats

I have a video camera that records into a DVD format - directly to a mini dvd. I'm not sure if that is a good/correct format to post because I don't think it's the normal format posted to whatever site.

Does anyone know if I'm correct and if it can't be in that format, is there a conversion tool that anyone knows of?

High Runs:

150 (in a dream)

when i do my videos for softball i use the video feature on my cannon powershot and then upload it to youtube. then again im computer illiterate, its a miracle i can post on the forum without screwing up.

You can upload in many different formats. If it does not work, it can be converted easily enough. Try it with whatever format you have and let us know.

Well guys practice is paying off, just hit double digits!!! Had four or five 7/8 ball runs but I managed to get to 10 tonight before slipping up

Yeah man, post anything you want. I like watching everything people put up.

Not to hyjack your thread, but here's one I did back a few years... >>>
www.vimeo.com/gerryinpa This was with a very cheap $30 webcam. I hung it on the ceiling with a clamp that it came with and wired it to my laptop with a usb cable. I'm going to try to get 100 next! :) You can see the quality difference between vids on my page....that was when I got a new laptop!...I"m guessing it was a better video card?...I"m not real computer savvy....

have fun,

G.
