Hello,
I am Vincent, I'm 16 and I am pretty new to the Forum here.
Well I have taken a big intrust in Cue building, Yet I have not been able
get my start in the world. Basicly I don't have money for most of
the equipment.......Whoa, Big Supprise,lol.
I also thought I should start off small?
When I thought Small, I thought Thread Protectors.
I know a local Cue Maker, He can Help me.
I'm very serous about this, I just Thought I'd see if there is anything
you might want to say? Any tips? Any thoughts?
Oh, lastly any good sites I could get Wood, Pins, Etc?

Thanks,
-Vincent

Hello Vincent, welcome to the forum.
Your first move would be to use the correct name for what you hope to be making...they are known as joint protectors.;)
prathercue.com & cuestik.com will get you all the basic supplys you'll need.
Best of luck.

just give me a call somtime.......

hey vincet, good luck with making joint protectors, if you have a local cue maker handy to help you out i doubt i could tell you much that he cant tell you ( or maybe not as much ) but i would be more than happy to help you anyway i can or answer any questions and steer you towards where to buy wood and pins and all that. once you get started and i see some your work i would be happy to sell them for you free of commission, as i dont like messing with them......until then put me down for the first order......let me know when your up and running and i will send you the specs. good luck james 254 498 1941
