MAKO cue tips have you tried them?

mako M

Installed it by hand, took a while since it's a layered tip
but slow and smooth sanding got it done right
it's on a Lucky L1 cue, standard maple shaft, 13mm

How long have you used your tip?
1 week

How is the hit and what hardness did you use?
the hit is great, I went with a M tip, but it feels like a Medium Soft
and I'm sure it's because it's new, but it feels like I'm hitting the balls more accurately

How did it hold it's shape after playing with it?
it holds its shape well, went with a dime shape

How well does it hold chalk?
after a good scuffing, it holds chalk very well

Would you buy and have it installed again?
I would, just might trim it down a layer or 2, not used to tall tips

Would you refer a friend to use the tip?
I already have, had a few try it out and everyone seems to like it

mako tips

To All,

I have used this tip for 3 days ( about 4 hours) now and I am impressed.
The shape has held up well about 9 of 10
spin about 8 of 10
but most of all the hit for a medium tip is 9 of 10, more than firm but not hard. No big click or any feeling of being spongy. It just seems to grip the cue ball. This was on a OB shaft. I am picky about tips but am impressed with this product. Would use even if I did win the lottery.

Thanks and have a Good Day!

spongy.

I am picky about tips but would use even if
