I just found a cool old Mali T-15 but it has no weight bolt. What does the proper bolt look like?

Philips head bolt.

I am looking for a pic for you.

Will pull out a cue and take a pic if I have to. Just not sure what case it is in.

I have several, including a T-15. Nice cue.

That’s what I need the bolt for. Found it last night and brought it home today.

Nice full shaft. Any idea what the ferrules on these are? It is yellow like micarta but no grain.

Nice find. I like the old Mali cues and the T-15 is kind of iconic of the line in that era. There are some interesting slight variations. Looks like your point gap at the top of the wrap is a but wider than mine, and/or the points are narrower. Mine also has a little striping in the ebony butt sleeve.

I went through my Mali files and can't find a pic of the weight bolt. I'll see if I can dig a cue out and take a pic over the weekend if nobody else comes up with one.

I don't know the ferule material and I believe they used some different ones. Might ask in the cue makers forum. One of them might have a weight bolt pic too.

Thank you.

I believe it's called a pan head bolt or pan head screw? No?

Anyway, saves me digging out a cue. That's a bigger ordeal than one might imagine. :embarrassed2:
