Man murdered at Backstage Billiards in Orlando, Florida

Other Backstage Billiards...

There is another Backstage Billiards at the intersection of International Drive and Kirkman Rd. This is a very touristy section of town. It's a pretty nice place...good equipment...young fun crowd...lol not for me.

I remember a Florida Tour event in the early 90's at a Backstage Billiards that was located in what is called the Crossroads of the World...just across from the main entrance to Walt Disney World....I think they moved because the rent was getting a bit steep lol...anyway I had one of my better events there...

A good reason for my success was the place was loaded with distractions...I'm not crazy about distractions but as a room owner for a decade I got used to it and always considered it an edge when things got a little out of control...loud music...wall to wall people bumping into players...my key match was a win over a great player on a table smack next to a machine where people shot real basketballs at a real hoop that was getting some intense play...

Most of the players hated it and we never played there again...it was out of business a few years later...

Not if the person stops and the guy who had been beat goes and grabs a gun. Once the immediate danger stops, it becomes at least manslaughter.

that's true.that is why i worded it the way i did..

We had a shooting at a pool hall here in Atlanta not to long ago. I first heard on the news "Shooting at pool hall on Chamblee-Tucker rd". Which is where Mr. Cues2 is. Then I saw video and it was at one down the road. Which I often pass.

However the area it is in is considered one of the worste areas for gang activity in Atlanta. So I wasnt' suprised at this pool hall. My only shock was they found an english speaking person at the pool hall.
