Manny, Django & Bata

If the Philippines has campaign finance reporting then they should categorize that "loss" as an in-kind donation ;)

This definitely sounds a little suspect. However, Manny has been heavily involved in the pool scene for a long time. He hosts major tournaments multiple times per year and was involved with the Philippines hosting the world championships in the past.

According to this video, he plays close to pro speed and was matching up with pro players long before his boxing career took off:

I've watched him play several times. He knows his way around a pool table, but nowhere close to pro speed. At best a low level shortstop, but still very capable on the table. No slouch for sure. He and Joe Rogan would be a good match. I'll try to arrange it. :p

Would pay to see that!
I would even drive over to Austin to see it in person.
I wish Joe would put a small 3-4 pool table area in his new comedy club.
