FULL of killers! I don't know the background of this tournament. Dennis is playing Marabi now. Quality is super good. The channel has many prior matches from the past couple of day as well.

Beautiful new for 2023 design Gabriels Gryffon table as well.

Wow. Speaking of tables -- I just don't get it when it comes to the prices of these things.

I wouldn't mind having a Diamond but I just can't justify paying that much for one when I bought a used table for a thousand bucks, set it up myself, and have enjoyed playing on it for several years now. I see how serious players can justify the expense and how they talk themselves into it. I just find it hard to believe that there are thousands of people out there purchasing these things new consistently, especially when we all know pool is more of a blue collar sport, at least in the U.S.

Who are the customers for these tables?

I think the vast majority of commercial tables, whether Brunswick or Diamond, are purchased by pool halls. When they get to people's homes, its when the pool room closes or upgrades.

Diamond bucked that trend by offering factory direct prices to home consumers much less than what a dealer charged for a GC in the 90's. Now though, they are about the same price.

Guess I knew that to an extent.

I guess Diamond has just won the battle in the pool rooms. Still when Brunswick was the top dog, they had their commercial tables and their furniture models. Pretty amazing Diamond has done what they have while pretty much just selling commercial grade stuff.

Still I'm surprised how quickly used Diamonds move versus Gold Crowns when you have to pay probably 80% of retail price. Meanwhile, a Gold Crown is probably a couple thousand. If I were to open a room, I'd probably track down some Gold Crowns.

10k for a pool table just seems crazy. Guess I'm getting old.

In looking intently for a used table over 2-3 months recently, it's amazing the types of houses you'd see Diamonds in. Like hope you're also feeding your five kids.

yes, very nice table. probably expensive as hell.

dennis looking strong
Gabriel Gryffon tables are most likely best on the market, we got them at Biljardpalatset Stockholm Sweden, not really expensive for the best table on the market, cost less than a GC6TE.
I know the owner of Mantra, they got lots of tournaments or single high profile matches.
