Maple Root Burl

Anyone have pictures of any work you've done with maple root burl? I was at Jacoby's a couple months ago, and Brandon was showing me some left over burl from doing the special edition Predator cues. He had some pretty nice pieces so I picked one out and I'm having him make an 8-pointer using a maple root burl front.

It looks very similar to the regular maple burl.

Most Burl is material is from the root of the tree but it can be found on the trunk and limbs.

It looks very similar to the regular maple burl.

I think the figure looks the same, but like other root burls I've seen this has the dark eyes in it.

I'm hoping the color turns out lighter, and not the darker brown or orange color I see in a lot of maple burls. The piece I picked out was pretty light, though.
