You're so right about this Joe. The sad part is if people who aren't coming, DON'T CALL and cancel, their spot has to wait until the day of the tournament to be removed. This puts a lot of people on the waiting list in an uncomfortable spot. Now, they have to decide if they will attend the tournament and HOPE that someone doesn't show up that is already entered.
With a full field there is already a shortage of space for sweaters and players so we don't need 63 "extra" spectators taking up chairs and space based upon some pie in the sky hope that some might drop out. Still, even if you don't play it's an awesome event just to attend to eat, drink and be merry.
It would be a righteous thing for those who have entered and know they cannot make the trip to call in and cancel. They can't transfer their entry fee, so why not call in and help a brother or a sister on the waiting list.

Playing at the Louisiana State Bar Table Championship at CueSports this past weekend:
JoeyA, wins only one match the whole tournament. The guy who I beat was drunk as Cooter Brown (seriously). My opponent made two shots the whole match, both of them kicks. He couldn't make a straight in shot because he kept wobbling back and forth but I think he was having a good time regardless.
I am playing so poorly that I didn't even buy half of myself in the Calcutta.
My game has gone to hell in a hurry. Oh well...

Mine to I will just stick to watching on the sideline. I cannot take the emotional ups and downs of pool. LOL

Yea wont be much action played either. With the way they arranged everything. Only 2 9 footers and 2 8 footers to play on...
There is action just come down and buy someone in the calcutta. Be plenty of action in that thing.
Yea tournament action. I mean other action n games. Only 4 big tables to play on
I don't understand. The last time they had one, there were 3 eight foots and 2 nine foot tables to gamble on, and most of the time at least one of those was not even being used. So it doesn't seem like that big of a difference to me, but I guess we'll see.
