Did you get a refinish on the cue? If so, who did it and fixed the pin? Are both shafts straight? Thanks, Deacon
 
I Restored The Cue And Repaired The Pin. Rolls Perfectly Straight. Looks Better Than New. Shafts Were Completely Reconditioned With New Lepro Tips. Also Now The Ed Young Shaft Fits The Butt Flush. Nice Cue....
 
I think this account may have been hijacked. I bid on this cue when it was first listed. Bids were all cancelled and I received an email from somebody, not the seller, to buy it privately for less than I had bid on it. Not worth the risk at this point.
 
Someone has gone into the auction and cancelled all the bids. I have never had this happen before and do not know what to do?

Last night the thing happened with another auction that I was following, all bids were cancelled. Shortly after the auction ended I received a Second Time Offer to sell me the same cue that had just sold for $700 for $450.

A few minutes ago I got an offer to buy Jonathans Mariposa for $357.00!

I have an auction running and started receving strange questions about a duplicate item and referring me to another item numer using the Ebay message system. I did not reply to the message but I did look up the referenced item and there was no such number.

I believe that when the seller replies to the scammers question, they are somehow able to do whatever they are doing.

Both Ebay members that have replied to my aucton are brand new, have zero feedback and have, as an Ebay name, a NAME followed by a number......such as andre1232 or nguyen45876.

Both of the second offers were from BGS@army.com
 
changed my password.... I'm now trying to contact e-bay to correct the problem. It's too bad that there are people out there doing this.

This has been explained here before, but briefly, the sleight-of-hand is in the response to the message from the ebay scammer. Usually the phishing message comes via email, and when you click on the item in order to look at it, you are routed to your browser and prompted to log in to Ebay. It all apears to be normal, but since the spoof email is a total fake, you are not actually logging into Ebay, you are entering your login and password to a HTML page on the scam site.

Read my post right above yours. It might be drastic but maybe you should cancel the auction. What will happen if someone wins your auction at a low price. Even though its a scam, the low bidder will expect to buy the cue at whatever price.
