Mark Bear custom jump cues

Do you know if he is the same "Bear" that Bustamante was/is representing?

it is not the same Bear. One is in Germany, Mark Bear is in Fredricksburg,Va. and although not the maker of Bustamante's cue he does make very nice pool cues. I believe he has a web site but not sure of the address.

A friend of mine has one and thinks it's the best it had a purpleheart shaft.
I have tried and I wasn't that much impressed I felt it was about the same with my sledgehammer jump/break it was a good jump cue but nothing that special.
I think that the jacoby jump cue is the best I have tried and it is the one I am using.
The Mark Bear jump is pretty expensive also last time I checked was at $650 the price is not from his site.
