Two more names from the past...whatever happened to them? Beilfus, out of Michigan, was regarded as a 14.1 whiz. I remember that when he was 16-17, he beat Lassiter in a 14.1 match in one of the mid-seventies U.S. Open 14.1 Championships that the BCA uses to sponsor. Leake had a brief write up in Edward Knuchel's "How to win at Pocket Billiards" and he was doing exibitions for Brunswick Billiards as an 8-9 year old prodigy. Never heard anymore about him...

Mark quit playing pool when he got old enough to get out from under his dad I guess. I know when we used to go up to play him and he lost or played bad (even if he won) his father would give it to him awful from what we saw.

He played damn strong but if you don't care for what you do or it starts to lose the luster it's hard to keep going.

Saw Mark about a month ago at the State Eagles tourney. He took 3rd or 4th I believe. A friend that played him stated that he was talking about the IPT tour a bit. Still seemed to hit them a bit. I believe he can be found in Grand Rapids, MI.
