Mark Denton / Ed Robinson cues

Anyone own or played with either of these cues?
I was just curious as to how they hit, and what production cue they might be compared to.

I bought a Titlist conversion off Ed in May and have to say it’s a great cue. Plays great and the price was very reasonable. Also the transaction and response time was very quick. Highly recommended.

Nice looking cue! What joint did you go with?

Radial pin with a brass joint sleeve.
Thnx. The brass sleeve must be to ‘soften’ the feel of the stainless steel. I like the whole package.

Conversions remind me of the good old days in the 60’s when all us kids grabbed cues out of the rack and played pool for hours on end.

Thnx for sharing!

Actually I requested the brass sleeve purely for aesthetics. I love vintage cues like Rambows and i’m a huge fan of The Hustler. So it’s a nice mix of old school and new school. It hits a ton with the radial pin. I bought a Predator Vantage partial for it and honestly i prefer the regular maple shaft over it.

Is your username associated with Cicero Ave in Chicago?

You need to find the holy grail then. Eddie Laube Cue!

No Cicerone is the designation given to beer sommeliers. But, coincidentally the Cicerone headquarters is based out of Chicago!
No surprise they are based in Chicago. It is a foodie town and has many wonderful restaurants.

My older brother is a tool and thinks he’s smarter than everyone. One night he tried to be smart with the sommelier at a restaurant my wife and I were regulars at.

The sommelier comped us a wine of his choice and Mr Know It All decided to show his ass. He made an incorrect statement and the sommelier quickly put him in his place.
It was wonderful! Later I slipped him a 50 dollar tip for sticking it too my brother.

The next time my wife and I went there he came over to us and we all had a good laugh about it..
