Mark "Tadd" Tademy defeated Dave Matlock at the Las Vegas Cue Club this afternoon to lock up a spot in the upcoming big $ event at the Venetian. Congratulations Mark "Tadd" Tademy! I enjoyed watching the matches that included Parica, Santos, Teddy G, Danny Medina, among others battling it out for a chance at the big bucks.

Rip

Thanks for posting this RIP.
Howard Ikeda, now living in New Orleans, who is a very underrated pool player, having played, gambled with and even spotted some of the world's best players recently told me that Mark Tademy was the single greatest natural talent that he ever saw. He was in a class by himself. Mark had quit playing pool for quite sometime. It appears that the old saying is true, "When you got it, you got it".
CONGRATULATIONS MARK "TADD".

Hi JoeyA,
Mark played precision pool yesterday and he's definitely "back".

I believe Howard spent a couple of months here in Vegas after Katrina. I had the opportunity to play with a couple of his cues. Nice hitting cues and unique designs.

Rip

just for the record...

Mark's last name is spelled Tatami...but he has gone by Mark Tadd forever. He went to high school with a buddy of mine, in Pocatello, ID. Good to see him back playing pool again. He had basically quit for a long time, although he continued to play cards the whole time he quit pool. Congratulations Mark! Hope you can cash big on the IPT!

Hi Scott,
It's common knowledge that Mark Tademy was known as Mark Tadd during his previous playing years. As of yesterday, Mark was spelling his name Tademy, not Tatami.
Whatever... Mark T (fill in the spelling you prefer), played some sporty 8 ball yesterday.

Rip...That's okay! Anyone can spell their name anyway they want to, can't they? LOL His family name was spelled Tatami in Pocatello. He must have changed it! However you spell it...it stands for GREAT PLAYER! LOL

And you my good man, are full of it. :-)
Tell Buddy I said hello and to come pass a good time (Dot's waiting for him) and to bring his richest stake horse with him. (No, I don't want to play him, just his stakehorse) VBG........
