this is the most disgusting thing i've ever read in billiards history.....I don't even know what to say....i feel bad for whoever got suckered into these contracts & hopefully no one gets screwed, I wonder who else signed with this guy & if it's worth it for them or not.....you mentioned basavich & ginky earlier having to signed....good friends & great personalities on tour, it would be such a shame if these & the other players got raped of their prize money...although as a player myself the only benefit i see of this whole case scenario is that they pay for the room & board, & MT & KT they all know that its an eye catcher to say here's money for you to spend, oh & you're hotel & travel expense is paid for as well.....I'd love someone to say that to me...LOL
its just all a matter of...can you pay back the mob uhh i mean KT & or MT whoever it is, and if you can't what will happen as a result....MT must have enough players signed up for him to not worry about if a player can't pay back....People do need to make money some how, this guy just seems like a snake, slithering into the world of pool......go away MT....Is this what i have to look forward to when getting involved on a serious level....I think i'll stay safe with the other tourneys......this guy would push me away....see ya later........but again its just my opinion...thats all..

With Ginky and Basavich being mentioned these guys with what they have been through and the current worldwide competition I think they took the course that might take em to the next level. I think they both question if they can be in the top 100 in this type of venue and made a choice. Once they know they can I would find the next time they sign a contract (if that even comes about) they will have a more realistic look at the numbers, or be in a better position to renegotiate. Remember, Ginky has back issues and Danny has weight issues, both that limit them in this grueling format.

every contract is different. i am not going to discuss mine, but i am satisfied and i dont have any complaints... and its not my back issues that prevent me from playing, i know i have dissapointed many, but i lost two children already, and its my job as a father and husband to make sure my wife is okay, and that my unborn child is healthy. I am exhausted and scared to death with the current complications my wife is having. I know i will have to fight for a chance to be in the IPT 2007, but the way things are going, i have more important things to deal with right now. And having a contract and a guarantee, that helps alot in itself.. And im not an idiot i revised it with my lawyer and everything is fine.. as for others, i dont know what they have signed.

Smart move to hire an attorney BEFORE you sign any contract.

I hope all goes well for you. At home and on the table.
