Don't mean to be rude but I like many others who don't live in the US probably have no idea who Mark tadd is? Can Mark or somebody share what Mark has acheived, what tournaments has he won, or was he just a good money player?

Just curious

In California in the early 90's Mark Tadd won an all around tournament in which he won 2 out of the 3 games (9-ball, one-pocket & banks) I think in the one pocket he came in second this tournament included all the top players in including Reyes, Bustamante, Hall, Varner, Sigel, Wiley, Strickland, Archer etc... were there. Also Mark was a big money player. When I lived in Vegas in 1990-1992 Mark would stop into town and gamble at Cue Topia and Cue Club. One particular time Buddy Hall and Jim Mataya were in town and nither wanted Mark's action......Mark is also on some Accu stats tapes....Just an awsome player to watch, he pockets balls with ease just like Strickland....

PS. if Mark shows up at the DCC, nodoubt the money will follow.........

Mark Tadd was one of the greatest road players of the early 1990's and did so well in action against the games superstars that he became a true road legend. My guess, and it's no more than that, is that he could give the seven to anyone not ranked in the top twenty on the men's pro tour.

Keith McCready called Mark Tadd "one of the five straightest shooters I have ever played against."

...and some of them got the seven too..and did not like it! Unbelievable! :D

And now there is some idiot named Roman calling Mark out on this forum to play him, knowing that Mark is out of stroke because he hasn't been playing these past few years. I say Roman grows a spine and waits for Mark to get back in stroke, and then challenges him.

OK so he didn't win many comps but he's a bit of a legend playing for dough.

As for the guy who challenged him, I'm sure he's just winding him up but if he IS genuine I wouldn't say he's a coward. This forum has basically been drooling over how good Mark was since he appeared on here so if the guy has the guts to play him then I wouldn't call hima coward. If Mark was really that good then a couple of years out of the game is nothing, a week or two solid practice would be enough for him to beat anyone by the sound of things.
