I'm going to Marlborough Ma tomorrow and may have an hour or so to kill. I was wondering if there are any good places to play in the area?

Thanks
Bora

Gee Cues closed from what I am told.

FireFly's is probably still open, although I have not been there in about 7 years. It only had 6 tables, and they were pretty tightly packed from what I remember. A friend of mine was the manager for a while back then.

I live in the area, but travel 20+ miles to play, when I can. :(

A little drive to Ayer

You are probably less than 30 minutes from the Billiards Cafe in Ayer. 495 North to Route 2 East to 110. 110 takes you through a rotary past a McDonalds and you end up in "downtown" Ayer. The Cafe is on your right. On street parking or park behind the building. They have 14 - 9 foot tables. Beer and Wine. Might be a serious player or two around.

If you are looking for serious pool, stay on 495 up to Chelmsford and go to Country Club USA. They have a website if you want exact directions.

Good bar pool all around. Marlborough, Hudson and Maynard all have a lot of APA taverns. Most locals know and play by APA rules.

If you decide to head to Billiards Cafe, give me a PM and I'll do my best to meet up with you.
