Marlon Manalo video interview

Different attitude

One thing that struck me with Marlon and maybe other players from the Phillipines is that he has a very strong sense of national pride and bringing home the trophy isn't only for him, but for his country as well. I guess Americans are more pitted against each other here when they play.

Marlon Manalo seems like a really, really nice & humble guy. I had the pleasure of meeting him once but never really got to talk. I regret not being able to sit with him to chat.
