Martinez Cues?

I have a friend who recently purchased a 'Martinez' cue, which I played a few games with and was very impressed with the balance and feel of the cue. He was told by the previous owner that it was not made by Ernie Martinez, but rather another cuemaker. I've heard the name Robert Martinez come up and I've since been trying to track down information on him or any other 'Martinez' that produces cues. I'm interested in seeing what's available about there from this cuemaker.

I'd really appreciate any info anyone out there has on these cues. Thanks in advance!

I love Ernie's cues and if it hits like one of them then your friend definitely has something special.

Thanks Kevin. That's the only thread or mention of him I can find anywhere on the net and have read that myself. Still looking for more info please.

(Should mention that I did find a website under Whitetip Custom Cues but they're not listed as Martinez cues and the website isn't working very well, but the cuemaker is named Rob.)

He did build a super shop.in Colorado . I looked at Joss west and Kikel and bought 3 martinez!
