It would probably be just wishful thinking at this time since Mika Immonen has been defeated in his very first match. Now he has to struggle in the loser"s side.

Per the azbilliards update:

Immonen, Petroni and Salvas lose in first round
The Monday night matches were not kind to Mika Immonen, Fabio Petroni or Luc Salvas as they all lost matches.

Immonen lost a hill-hill battle with Nayoki Oi and will now have to fight his way through the one loss side.

Like the saying goes... This is why they don't play them on paper. I have watched Nayoki Oi before and he's pretty darn good. This is a BIG win for him.

Mika is a champ, and he'll do some damage on the 1 loss side. I'm sure nobody will be thrilled when they meet up with Mika on that side of the bracket.
