I know that John Schimdt recently performed an unbelievable feat of winning the World 14.1 and the Maryland 14.1 back-to-back. Insidepool streamed from the Maryland 14.1, but I do not see the matches on their online channel.

I don't understand why Shannon Murphy and Chris Collins 9ball matches are up immediately after the GSBT, but not a single Maryland 14.1 match?

Murphy and Collins are good players, but seeing good players play 9 ball is relatively ordinary. However, seeing most of world 14.1 field in the Maryland event is rare, as 14.1 is dying and most of use will rarely get to see the best play 14.1.

Does anyone know why insidepool does not post matches from the Maryland event?

I heard that they lost "some" of the video. They told me that they had a few matches and were working on uploading. I asked which ones and they said they were not sure. I just asked them again ? I fear we lost most of that tournament.

I also asked Ira Lee about the dvds from the World Tournament. I was hoping to have them available about a month ago. At least we know the video is there on the world matches since they are selling the video on demand of the matches. http://viewer.dacast.com/broadcaster/12509/page/4

I figured something was up with the MD videos. I'm bummed cause I wanted to re-watch Mika put the whammy on me! But seriously I wanted to watch the Mika/Brandon match cause I had the honor of commentating with Bob Hunter.

Alvin says he has a couple of the matches. When I saw him in Atlanta at the Johnny Archer, I gave him a drive to put the matches on. When he gets the time, he will send to me and I will upload on youtube. I hope there are some good ones.

I tried everything to try and purchase the world 14.1 PPV on the DaCast site and nothing worked. I spoke with a guy on the chat who was a supposed support guy and his words were I am sorry I can't help you. I then called and asked this guy Adam about it and he said I am sorry I can't help you. I'm thinking what a great business you guys have, you can't help your customers"-)

I received the two matches from Alvin. One is uploaded:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajyoBceyZmA Thorsten Hohmann and Shaun Wilkie with commentary by Danny Barouty and Mike Davis.

The other is our own "Alinco", Andy Lincoln versus Mika Immonen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60k3bhNJcD4

Alvin told me that the audio on the others was bad and he thought they were erased.

J.R. told me nothing has been erased.

It took me quite a while of constant reminders to get these two. I will keep on them to see if there is at least some video available. Those were some great matches and I bet you Blackjack would not mind adding some commentary, maybe even John Schmidt and his sidekick, Tonto.

Well, Andy. You get one of your wishes. The Alinco/Immonen in all its glory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60k3bhNJcD4

Ugh! Can I trade this one for the one where I commentate?!!!

So watching it back...

0-0 Practice lag
0-0 Practice break
0-76 No need to practice racking
1-76 The 6 ball actually rolled off the spot and took away my 4 ball! I had to back cut the 9 ball instead. The music was loud downstairs.
7-76 Don't come up short on the key ball - should've gone to the rail like Rick M said in the commentary.

Not much else to learn in this match. Mika played well.

Mika sends towel, to wipe your tears:
