A few months ago, Mason delivered a blackwood cue to me with 3/4 inch yellow micarta ferrules, stiff shaft taper and Kamui Hard tips. I have played with a number of cues since then and I have to say that I always come back to this cue. There just is something about this Blackwood and combination of materials that is unlike anything else for me. The hit of this cue is just like no other.

If someone wants to lend me a Searing Half-Joint cue, I really need to make that comparison as well

I have to agree Mason's african blackwood cues are some of the best playing cues out there!

That yellow micarta he sells has alot to do it with it also ... that stuff is off the chain.

Thanks for sharing!

A buddy of mine has one and I just fell in love
with the Masonh cue at first sight! And I kid you not!

what it is that makes it "do what it does". Micarta, taper, good finish and execution of the whole package, I dunno  but I'm a believer as well. First short ferrule for me, first micarta ferrule for me, first 57" cue I have played with that I know of .... but I am loving the one I have. and don't sell Cambodian Rosewood short either!!!! :})
