Massachusetts Cuemakers

I was wondering if some of you could help me get a better feel for some of the local cuemakers, mainly Massachusetts...but other regional cuemakers would be interesting as well.

I had already heard of Mike Webb down in RI and PFD studios in CT before I had come to AZB. I've always loved coming across their cues in the hands of local opponents...unless they beat me that day of course....

Since joining AZB I've come to appreciate the work of Zinzola cues who I might otherwise might not have heard of without AZB. I started thumbing through my Blue Book last night and made it through the C section and only came across Pete Campbell, who I don't think makes cues anymore. Of course, there might be newer cuemakers I might miss going by this approach as well.

Anyone mind filling me in on the scene a little more about some of the local talent, especially if they are AZB members? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Funny, I had one of Pete's cues from about 15 years ago, it got stolen when my wife took it to play in an APA match. Really heavy son of a gun, I think 21oz, with the first and maybe only leather wrap he did. Cue #91.

Bought it at Mr. Billiards from him.

Tony Zinzola is a cuemaker who lives in MA. He is also a member of the forum.

Hi I live in Hudson,New Hampshire just over the border about 30-35 miles from Boston.I play in the Nashua Boston Billiards on Wednesday nights. It is a fun league and some people come up from the Everett area.Make the trip up and you can check out some of my cues.
Thanks Joe Callaluca

I mainly do repair nowadays, but make a cue once in a while when the bug gets ahold of me. If your in boston Joe C is close to you and puts out a quality product as does Barry Camron. Pete Campbell gave up cuemaking long ago due to back trouble. A very good cuemaker you may want to look at is Greg Kucharski he's in Conneticut and does outstanding work.

I'd like to see some too, brought some tips from him a couple years ago. Was easy to deal with. Always looking for rare cues to add to my case.

Like I said I haven't made one in a while. Wish I had kept some pics to show. When I find time to make some more I will sell them, and one of you guys can definitly take a look.

I'll check on my old computer, I may have some pics of cuemaker03's cues. I doubt it, but I'll check.

You would be the only cuemaker that has no pics of their work on the face of this planet.
