What properties are most effective in a masse cue?

I bought a Eric Yow. Short shaft, hard tip and heavy .

Very generally: Short, stiff, heavy,and large diameter tip.

Here is my latest model from my makers in Italy.
Butt length 23 inches
Shaft length 22 inches
Weight 21 ounces

I prefer the majority of the weight to be in the nose of the cue and the shafts are made of Kevlar 13.75 mm tip
