masse cuemakers...

I'm not sure of the appropriateness of my posting this in the forum, but I have a question and proposition. I shoot Artistic Pool and am beginning to do exhibitions, hoping to compete in professional tournaments in the near future. For now, I promote my website www.ericyow.com wherein I host numerous trick shot videos. My site has grown and receives hundreds of visitors from around the world everyday. I already have one sponsor. I'm looking for a cuebuilder who may be interested in receiving advertising space on my website in exchange for a custom masse cue. If any cue builders out there would at all be interested, please contact me. If we can work out a more reasonable deal as per your needs, please let me know. I would love to speak to a cuemaker about this proposition but didn't know exactly who would be interested. I guess you can say I'm on a fishing expedition. My email is psykoyow@hotmail.com. Thanks a TON!

Oh, I'm not asking for a handout. Not at all. Mine was certainly a quid pro quo proposition, the details of which can be discussed if there are any cuemakers who are interested in the business and advertising possibilities.

Eric,
What a coincidence. I just happened to see your website the other day. The videos are very cool. I would think, if you were looking for a cue sponsor, you could find one. Check out Dennis Dieckman, he has made masse cues for Mike Massey.

Good luck,
Tracy

Wow. That's funny. You manage to use an excessive amount of commas, and contribute absolutely nothing to a thread that probably never interested you in the first place.

Yow's trickshot abilities aren't really something that you can argue with. I trust he'll have little or no difficulty finding a sponsor. Like previous posters said, try Dieckman or Gabriel Custom Cues ... if they aren't willing to donate one free, maybe they could work out some kind of deal that would benefit both parties.

I've never seen a cue that was designed for masse shots. What kind of specs are you looking for? weight, length etc..

I talked to Dennis Dieckman and he said we might be able to work something out. A masse cue is shorter and heavier, specifically designed for masse shots. I'm looking for about 44" at 24oz or so.

A masse cue is 44 inches long, 24-26oz, and has a different taper than a normal cue. The tip is much larger, and there's a stainless steel rod inserted into the butt of the cue to add the extra weight.

Dennis Dieckman

I hold every world record in Masse' (Pocket Billiards) and Dennis made my masse cue.

I got my Dieckman masse cue and love it. I'm filming for a masse video that will be uploaded to my site really soon. Get ready, because I believe it will change the way people look at artistic pool forever. (I aim high, I know.)

It is a beauty

And rather unusual as well. I visited Dennis while he was finishing it up. I believe I have never handled a more interesting cue. It has interchangeable handles to change weight, as well as an unconventional butt taper, per request of the cueist I believe. Dennis is a fine craftsman without a doubt.
