Masse Cues

Dennis Dieckman makes a fantastic one from what I hear..
I had one made by Paul Drexler, it is pretty awesome too.. I am sure there are others that make them as well.

After seeing Mike Massey, Jamison Neu, and Yow pull off the massé shots, I second Eric's motion.

BTW Yow, take up 3-cushion sometime; you got killer instinct.

whats the difference from a playing cue and a masse cue:confused:

No offense and all, Ian, but are you asking this question out of curiousity or are you just trying to rave in points?

Not sure but I believe this could be Wombat's famous last words.:p :D :D

A masse' cue is short, very heavy (24/25 oz), and the shaft is built very sturdy with a euro taper. Also big shaft size at tip (13mm).

For some masse' shots you are shooting almost straight down with a lot of force. As if you are trying to send the tip of the cue through the slate!

I would be afraid to do this with regular cue as it might break the shaft...

SlickRick, you're about 2 weeks late. I just took it up and you should see some of the stuff I got on video yesterday! I'll edit a clip and put it up right now, just cuz you mentioned it!

-yow!

have yall seen that tip accessory, it looks like its rubber and its supposed to let you do crazy masse stuff. Saw it in inside pool i think. I wonder if that would be legal to use.....would be funny to pop it out in a money match and do a 180 masse to make a shot lol.

my computer wont pull up the catalog on that link. I want to buy the tip accessory. Can someone help me with a better link?
