For those in/near New York City, you may want to see some of the USBA tour event at Master Billiards the weekend of the 20th. Here is some info about the format:

Split Tournament
1) "A" Players play other "A" Players
2) "B" Players paly other "B" Players
3) .800 average or better is an "A" player
4) "A" Players entry fee is $ 305.00
5) "B" Players entry fee is $ 155.00
6) "B" players may opt to play with "A" players, still $ 155.00 (space permitting)
7) If you do not know what your average is, then you are most probably a "B" player.
8) Format will be determined by number of entrants into each group
9) Tournament attire please. Most of us will be wearing ties and vests.
Prize Fund: (Based on 33 players) $ 9,750.00 ($ 3,000.00 added)
"A" Tournament: $ 6,100.00 (entry fees + $ 2,500.00 added.)
"B" Tournament: $ 3,650.00 (entry fees + $ 500.00 added.)
