I'm a fan of Masters, works fine, available everywhere. I'm also a big fan of Fatboy and hate to offer an opinion different from anything he says but my table mechanics gave me a big box of Silver Cup because it matched the new Simonis they installed and I gotta say it works just fine too.

Pool rooms have cues to use absolutely free to play with , why buy a cue that's been cut in half??
That's not at all why anyone buys an expensive chalk .
Why buy a cue stick when pool rooms have dozens on the wall to use absolutely,( your favorite part coming up) FREE

house cues are functional .... custom cues are functional art ....
If someone is buying chalk for the artistic value, then I will apologize for laughing at you and focus all my laughter on them
Master and Triangle are the perfect chalk, shot for shot. No special mess or colors, just business.
If you want to take a flyer on fundamentals and hope that you can get 10 shots out of a swipe of expensive chalk, then hooray for you. It's still ridiculous and overpriced
It's been said dozens of times we really appreciate how clean it is on the home equipment and not looking like you gave poppa smurf a handjob after playing pool , and yup I like shooting a whole rack on one chalking, who wouldn't lol
How clean what is, exactly? A good cube of Master or Triangle is no messier than expensive chalk.
And fuck Kamui or Toam, what a slimy disaster on any table

i think the main issue with master chalk are the unconscious drillers over the table tha call it part of their pre shot routine and TOAM is the Crutch. i play a whole rack with 1 chalking of masters.
They certainly are less messy hate to break it to you taom
Kamui and the taom v10 are nothing alike,
played a guy the other day who used green kamui. smudges on the table reminded me of goose shit on a golf green. had to clean the table about every three games.
It's horrible, sticks to the balls and just ruins everything
You can't find any green on anything after using the taom v10. Y'all wanna argue any further than that fine, but no one that's used it has ever said anything close to that
