Match Ups

We all know that the Pros dominate the big tables. They also play lights out on bar tables, but so do some of the top amateurs. I think it would be interesting to see a group of 5 or 10 top pros play a team of top 5 or 10 amateurs in 8 ball and 9 ball on bar tables only. Who would be interesting to see on these teams in a match up, where every player on the pro team plays every player on the amateur team once? Do you think the pros would dominate this match up, or would it be competitive?

In the round robin format you are suggesting I see the pros dominating big time. I have seen a lot of great amateur players but they could not hang with the likes of SVB on a bar table.

I think in a race to say 10, you might be surprised to see how a team of Bowman and some of the others might compete against them, team chemistry might even play a big part.

I would consider Bowman a pro. Johnnyt
