Zielinski had Shaw on ropes with huge lead 8-2. Shaw comes back to 7-8 before Zielinski gets to hill 9-7 first. Shaw ties it hill hill, breaks dry with open table. Z then scratched in bottom right corner drawing from 1 to 2 . Unbelievable!

Ha! I was on a plane and the signal went out with Shaw losing 2-8. Just landed and saw he won.

Great comeback performance for Shaw - the win probably means the most to him as it's his "home" Open. Zielinski will surely learn from this (not sure if he was trying to place the cue ball and overdrew it, or was going for a more general area and rather carelessly made a rookie/amateur error of forgotting to avoid the pocket) and it's a good warm up for the UK Open.

i like scotland but when wiktor missed that crowd went off like a galley of pirates. but yea wiktor should've won that, he looked unbeatable
