I think we can agree to disagreedo you often angrily shout "OH MY GAWD!!" from the chair? yell at the referee to "SHUT UP!!" when he's trying to get you to stop banging walls/furniture? selt's tourettes often get the better of him, he's an idiot. sometimes it's amusing, this time it wasn't
Selt was just fined about $25,000 for his behaviour in a tournament last September.
Send him to the WNT, pool could use a new Earl. Tired of the robots.![]()
You would have loved the snooker rules in one of our local pool rooms. Pink was racked at apex of the triangle. Red was in front of the pink. No soft breaks allowed. Call all shots and kicks and banks. No combination shots and ball must be pocketed clean. Must hit a rail after contact with called ball. The worst part was if you commit a foul you lose all points you had on that break, plus lose 4 more points. I will admit that playing like this made me a much better at bank and kick shots. The lack of a 'no rail' rule and allowing 'slop' really takes a lot of shine off snooker imo. These guys are great no doubt but those rules are chicken-shit. I'd be pissed to, playing for a living and have some nit shit a ball in to win. Breaking furniture would be just a warm-up for me.
I've played snooker like that, too. At least 50 years ago.... Pink was racked at apex of the triangle. Red was in front of the pink. No soft breaks allowed. ...
I guess most places I play use American Snooker rules for the most part. I like playing on 10 foot snooker tables and I have one at home. We also play a lot on 9 foot tables. Not many 12 foot tables in Alabama! But, I want one! Saving up for a boat at the moment.I've played snooker like that, too. At least 50 years ago.
