Max. RPM?

Help required please.
What do you think is the maximum rpm required on a cue building lathe?
What do Chris's & Lee's spin upto?

1500 max is fine. I only go up that high when facing. Otherwise I'm spinning at 900 or so when using live tooling (IIRC...) If you're going to sand on this lathe you may want those higher speeds for that as well.

I agree with you Mr. H. No need to go above 1200 to 1500 rpm.
